It took me couple of year to build a trust with a specific person. And I think it ultimately failed. Why? I was not aware of The Trust Equation.

The Trust is defined as a ratio of (Credibility + Reliability + Intimacy) / Self-Interest. For any two people in the relationship there are two Trust scores: trust of you in him and trust of him in you.

Reflecting back I now realize that the Intimacy was the problem. It may not be too late to fix this after all…
